“I believe that there are many seasoned teachers in the workplace that simply believe the old adage: “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.” Fortunately, I will be saved from this mindset because I have completed Inspire Learning. The assigned Textbook is a gem and should be required reading in every teacher training program. Teaching is a wonderful profession and it is encouraging to see a graduate course that celebrates the daily wonder of the teaching experience.” Tony Stubbs, Emmetsburg, IA

It was nice to have a fresh reminder of how important it is to not get stuck in a rut with teaching or become a ‘red-light’ teacher. “I have found the course, Inspire Learning, to be very valuable to my teaching. It has provided me with the necessary tools to be a “Green Light” teacher in my classroom. Of all the courses I have taken, I would say that this has been among the best. I liked how the book provided real examples and lessons. The strategies were very useful and applicable to my current teaching role. I am excited to put the strategies I have learned here to use with my students. I think they will see a difference with my teaching. They will be more engaged, have more fun, and remember more information from my class when I implement these strategies with them. I have thoroughly enjoyed taking this course!” Amanda Strayer, Lewistown, OH

“I really enjoyed this Green Light Classrooms course! The chapters in the book were intriguing, stimulating and provide great examples of both red light and green light classroom strategies. I found it easy to take the examples and to apply them to my Spanish classes. It was refreshing to gain new ideas and this course offered me an opportunity to be self-reflective and creative at the same time. I would highly recommend this course to those looking to learn immediate ways to jump-start their teaching. Being not only a Spanish teacher, but also the coordinator for our World Language Department, I envision taking what I have learned and sharing it with my colleagues with the hope of encouraging more Green Light Classrooms in our school!” Daria Cayne, Beachwood, OH
