“I am very glad I decided to take this independent study course through Educational Resources. I have found the course “The Win-Win Classroom” to be very valuable to my teaching. I felt as though every minute I spent on this course was worth my time. I loved the book “Top 20 Teachers” and will be keeping it as a resource to use in my classroom. I have been teaching for 14 years and found many tips and reminders to enhance my classroom and increase student engagement. It has many immediately applicable concepts and tools to use in my classroom to ensure my students and I connect and succeed both in the classroom and in life. I appreciate that the courses through Educational Resources are educational, to the point, and I can complete them in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this class to my peers and plan on taking another one soon!” -Alexis P., NE

“I really appreciate this course. It definitely opened up my eyes as to how I am currently a top 20 teacher in some aspects and how I can improve in other areas to become a well-rounded Top 20 teacher. The star qualities and intellectual muscle are two things I will use most in my classroom this coming year as it is relevant and imperative to what I do in my classroom.

“I have heard one of the authors speak before and was very eager to read the book. The course helped me to think more deeply about what I was reading and I can’t wait to implement many of the things I learned this fall.”–Kristi B., MN

“You know when someone tells you a book is a “quick read,” and then it isn’t? That is NOT the case for this course’s book. It is 159 pages, but SUCH A QUICK READ because it is practical, entertaining, relevant, and easy to understand. The short anecdotes from the authors are fun to read and make you feel connected to the content. There are 18 chapters, but they are short which allow you to stay focused on answering each lesson’s prompts as you go. It was also nice to have one prompt per lesson. It allowed me to really focus on what was being asked, because sometimes it’s hard to do that when there are three or four per lesson. Highly recommend if you are looking for a good independent study course!”– Brynne M., MN
